Entry fee is $100 per tournament, which includes $10 Big Fish. Optional $25 Side Pot Split 60/40.
Launch and weigh-in at Queens Landing on Lake Norman from 10/28-12/31 and Pinnacle Access afterwards.
Note: We ask that everyone use good sportsmanship and keep safety on your mind during your time on the water. We (Foothills Marine Center) will not be responsible for any accidents during the tournaments.

Rules:

  • MEMBERSHIP: Foothills Marine Team Bass Trail reserves the right to deny a membership to any angler as seen fit by tournament committee. There will be NO MEMBERSHIP FEE to be paid for this trail.
  • PARTNERS: A team may consist of only 1 or 2 anglers. (You may fish as a team or solo)
  • HOLE SITTING: A team having another angler or competitor or anyone outside the tournament (family, friend, ETC.) sitting on a location for the sole purpose of preventing other competitors to fish that location will be disqualified and banned from fishing any other events in the future.
  • START TIME: Teams must be paid by 15 minutes prior to blast off. If not, you will have to wait to register after blast off - no exceptions. 
  • LIVEWELLS: All teams must have working livewells. Livewells will be checked on blastoff by starter boat or at dock by designated official.
  • TROLLING AND LONG LINING: This will not be allowed - AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION
  • LIMITS: This is a (5) five fish limit format YOU MUST CULL ON YOUR 6TH FISH, No culling at ramp
  • DEAD FISH PENALTY: 1 lb penalty per dead fish and dead fish will not be weighed in big fish pot
  • ON WATER OFF LIMITS: Any water that is not accessible by boat. NO throwing over skimmer walls or skimmer lines. SKIMMER WALL AT 150 BRIDGE IS OFF LIMITS
  • TIES: In the event of a tie the money will be added together and split 50/50 between the 2 places
  • LATE PENALTY: Teams must return to weigh-in on time ( NO EXCEPTIONS ) after five minutes your fish will not be weighed ( THIS WILL BE POLICED ) - you may trailer your boat before weighing fish
  • CELL PHONES: Teams are not allowed to use cell phones during tournament hours (EXCEPT for EMERGENCY or FAMILY or BUSINESS ) AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION
  • WEATHER: In the event of adverse weather conditions tournament director has the right for the safety of the anglers to POSTPONE, RESCHEDULE, or DELAY EVENT at his/her discretion
  • ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: NO alcohol or drugs during tournament hours - AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION
  • LIFE JACKETS, KILL SWITCH: Must be worn anytime big motor is in use
  • ASSISTANCE: Teams in the event of a breakdown may receive help from another team or angler by either towing or transferring their fish to another competitors boat to return to weigh-in site only if the tournament director is notified by cell phone. If the director cannot be reached by phone he must be notified before weighing fish of the instance.
  • EXITING BOAT: No Team member shall leave his/her boat for any reason other than an emergency ( Call of Nature, Breakdown Assistance ) AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION
  • POLYGRAPH: All TEAMS are subject to polygraph at any/all events. ANY ANGLER who has failed a polygraph or refused a polygraph will not be allowed to enter an event. Refusal by any TEAM to take a polygraph for any reason will AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED - NO EXCEPTIONS - NO REFUND
  • BAN RULE: If A TEAM or TEAM MEMBER has been banned from any other tournament trail for cheating ( with proof provided and proven guilty of cheating ) Team or Team Member will not be allowed to fish NO EXCEPTIONS
  • SOCIAL MEDIA: Any Team or Angler found slandering tournament trail or any of its members or affiliates on any SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM will be AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED and BANNED from any future events NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • PROTEST: All protests must be made to tournament director within 15 minutes of scales closing
  • CONDUCT: Teams will conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike and adult manner at any/all events. ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING , NO CURSING , NO EXCEPTIONS you will be given your membership back Disqualified and Banned from any future events. ( NO EXCEPTIONS )
  • WAIVER: Both you and your partner must sign a waiver of liability. Tournament director, Tournament committee, and any Sponsors or affiliates SHALL not be held responsible for you or your partner your belongings before, during, or after tournament hours. By signing said waiver you release all and any liability
